    SPIRIT

SPIRIT is our block horse gelding. He's the property greeter and loves to say hi to everyone. Spirit seems to have found his place with teaching adults! He's an amazing teacher and participates in our adult programs.

You can read more about Spirit’s story on our store website here.

    STILETTO

Stiletto is our big beautiful percheron/quarter horse. She is a kind sensitive mare and loves working with people. Her loving yet assertive nature make her a great teacher.

We affectionately call her ‘miss Sassy Pants’.

    MOHAWK

Mohawk loves water and then loves to roll in the dirt! He is proficient at scratching his belly on the ground - real treat to watch!! He really loves the attention from the kids.

    SAGE

Sage, our registered Appendix, is athletic, energetic, and excited to work in the EAL program. After just a month of observing the herd in their EAL work, she quickly understood the program!

Now, Sage takes her time in sessions and loves the brushes and gentle touches from participants. With a kind and fair approach, she’s become the sweetest, most delicate horse we’ve known.

    XENIA

Xenia is our gentle warrior princess. Her cues are subtle, and she prefers light handling, steering clear of herd drama. She takes time to warm up, but once she does, she loves cuddles. Independent yet deeply empathetic, she radiates quiet strength and endurance.

We’re still not sure how she magically appeared here—but we’re beyond grateful she did.

    KIP

Kip is an "Elder" horse, whose calm and stable presence is invaluable to the herd’s well-being. He remains reliable and rational, staying out of drama while providing support when needed. Kip is a gentle, sensitive soul who quickly wins people’s hearts. His soft nature helps nervous individuals feel safe and at ease. We're lucky to learn from Kip and grateful for the wisdom, love, and comfort he brings to everyone around him.

    "Q"

Q is pure awareness—nothing stays hidden from him. He chooses his people and isn’t shy about letting you know when he’s not feeling it. Playful and full of character, he’s both calm and curious, fast and slow, depending on the moment.

Q loves feeling safe in his environment and, though he likes to think of himself as a ‘Spirit’, he’s still figuring it out.

  • Blu

This pink unicorn is truly one of a kind. She doesn’t do anything slowly—unless she chooses to. Blu is incredibly sensitive, kind, and an overall sweetheart. She’s very clear about when she wants to be touched—and when she doesn’t.

With a subtle sense of humour, she keeps us smiling. Blu, you’re such a blessing to have around. Thank you for all the entertainment you bring simply by being your authentic self!

  • ELVIS

Elvis has been with us for a long time and is Betty's full brother. When he first arrived, it felt like a piece of Betty had returned. A consistent teacher, Elvis truly loves this work. He’s dedicated to the job but also loves his scratches! His clear body language helps people feel at ease. We're grateful for the patience and persistence he brings every day. Thank you, Elvis!

  • FORECASTER

    Stay tuned for his story…

“I believe that horses bring out the best in us. They judge us not by how we look, what we’re wearing or how powerful or rich we are, they judge us in terms of sensitivity, consistency, and patience. They demand standards of behaviour and levels of kindness that we, as humans, then strive to maintain.”
